Here are ten step checklist for starting your own blog.

1 . Choose a subject

Decide on what your blog is all about. You need to have a concept before you can start writing about, so that you can appeal to the right niche of you own interest. Your blog will die if you loose interest or do not take the time to come up with a good subject that you can blog about.

2 . Title

Come up with a title that is catchy, entertaining and easy for people to remember. Make your blog title catchy and interesting if you want it to attract readers. You can use some search engine optimizer to find keywords for your tittle. WordTracker is the most recognized software till to date.

3 . Choose a Domain Name

Domain names really matter in this day and age because they let potential readers know what your site is all about. Once you have a title and a subject, you need to create a domain name that will help readers find your site. You can either use a free domain name or buy your own at Godaddy.com, Networksolution.com and others

4 . Choose a blogging platform

Try considering both your needs and your budget when you consider blogging platforms. Some blogging platforms like blogger are free or inexpensive, while others cost a little more but offer greater benefits. Another excellent blogging platform is WordPress, which is free and easy to use.

5 . Find a Web Host

Unless you are hosting your blog on someone else’s server, the next step is to find an adequate website host. A free host is available with blogger and other platform. You need to find a web host that is reliable and offers the benefits and level of service that you need in order to get the most out of your blog.

6 . Find a flexible theme

Not only do you need to find a flexible design theme, but you need to find one that you can easily edit to make your own. The design of your blog is part of your brand and concept. With a little CSS and HTML know how you can take a nice theme and really make it your own.

7 . Sign Up for Web Analytics

With web analytics, you can figure out if you are doing the right thing, and if you are attracting the right people to your blog. Web analytics give you the stats that you need to determine what’s hot on your blog, what’s not hot, what most people are coming for, and which posts are more useful than others.

8 . Make your first post

Make your first post not too long, not too short, try you best not to make grammatical mistakes. Make you sentences clear direst to the point. Let readers know what your blog is going to be all about.

9 . Start putting together real content

The real challenge is creating real content on a long term basis. Be sure to read blog which has similar keywords/niche as your. Compare articles with long term bloggers. You do not know what to do and where to start, should you spend money or not, how to blog? Are you beginning a brand new blog? One of the first decisions that you are going to want to make is where you want to put your blog, choosing a platform and then you are going to need to choose a blog niche. One of the best ways to get your blog started is by using the WordPress, Blogger, Ebloggy or Blogeasy but hosting it on your own website is a lot more free and open than if you were to host on the website. You can literally get your blog set up in a few minutes. If you want to host your niche website on another website besides WordPress.com or blogspot.com then what you need to do is to find a domain name and to find an appropriate hosting company. Both of these things are capable of being sourced at really low costs if you know what to do and where to look.Do want to remind you that this web logs do come free. You can get an account on blogs like blogspot, Wordpress or Blogeasy. You will be given a domain address www.yourname.blogspot/wordpress/blogeasy.com. Do try this offer if you are new to blogging to get familiar with the platform and other methods.

Domains – There are a number of different registrars that are available when it comes to registering your own domain name so make sure that you do your research so that you can choose the one that is going to be best for you. Choosing a domain registrar means choosing one that has an interface that is easy to use and also a low or affordable cost. Do keep in mind there is always domains that comes free rather then a www.yourname.com. When choosing a domain name, make sure that it relates to your blog niche and make sure that you are using one of your most valuable primary keywords in order to get the best results. In some niches this may not be as easy, but when you consider how vitally important it is, it should make sense why you should take the time to achieve this. Choosing a clever name doesn’t hurt, but don’t spend too much time setting this part of your website up – You need to get to the good stuff!

Hosting - Just as there are a number of different domain registrars, there are also plenty of hosting options for you to choose from. Make sure that you are conducting good research and look to see what other people say about the option that you do decide to go with. Once you have your hosting and your domain name, find out about installing WordPress or other platforms on your site. Many hosting companies offer a one-click option for word press, meaning that it will be installed automatically for you with the click of a button and only a little bit of required information, such as where you want your posts to go.Choosing a blog niche and setting up your platform doesn’t have to be hard in any sense. Once you know what you are doing you can really allow your blog niche to take off.I would suggest you try blogging with free platform for a month before heading to a paid site.

Many people have difficulty in deciding whether or not to build a blog, a website or both. Mainly because they don't understand the difference between the two. To understand the difference it's probably best to go back to before Blogs were common, and only websites existed. A website is simply a collection of linked web pages located somewhere on the Internet. Websites were, and still are, created using editing tools like Dreamweaver, FrontPage etc, and required a certain amount of knowledge and technical know how to create and maintain.

There is no much difference between blogs and websites. A blog let you fill in your imagination, let you write what you want too. The main difference is in the way the content is presented. A blog post can be presented within the context of its tags, categories, and published date, as well as within search results. A website usually has its pages/articles displayed based on categories, as well as search results. For example if you choose to do theme then you are stuck with it.

There are many sites for getting a free blog such as Blogspot, Blogger, Wordpress and many other while for a website you can choose on Webs, Wix, Yola and many other. From the look of it i am not sure how can someone label them as a blog or a website. As we know both have the same direction and goals into catching a fish from the world wide web. Some having the idea of monetizing their space on the web.

A blog requires a database and server-side scripting. Websites on the other hand, don't need these technologies (although many websites do actually use them).A website would look professional while a blog would give the idea an individual creating it. The debate for blogs vs website been in debate for long time, the pros and cons is always weighed by different wizard.

A blog or website, it does not matter how you want to label it. It all about you and what you want to do with it. All it matters is the content and its value to the readers who is reviewing it.

Marketing plays in as a key role wheather it is a blog or website. You can get equal traffic from both. It all depend on you on how you do it. Is like deciding wheather you want to drink coca cola or pepsi, both the blog and website title has its up's and down's.

In my opinion a blog is easier to manage and there is less pressure in what i would like to publish in accordence with my viewer. There is a famous term BLOGGER then a never heard term “WEBSITTER” which sounds stupid for a person professional doing a blog or website.

Finally what i have to say is that the term blogging is becoming famous among young teenagers, even younger then that. The adults and elderly is also diving into blogging rather then websites. People are following a fashion statement of the 21st century.

Blogs vs website is an individual opinion on how they want to follow the fashion statement. Thank you for supporting.

Hello and welcome to my blog. My name is Albert Roy, and I’m starting this page with the intention of sharing information concerning primarily online money making and marketing techniques or tips by blogging or creating a webpage. The information will be available to be used by anyone who is willing to read what is posted. What you do with the things you learn here is totally up to you. The sky is the limit, literally. Since I am new to blogging myself, I am in the learning process. I spend time into research and prepared to try many new ways monetizing and marketing your blog or webpage.

I can’t promise I will make you rich, but I can at least assure you that upon reading some of the posts in here, you will at least have a better and clearer comprehension of how you can monetize many common tools of your daily online life. If you are already diving into or are completely familiar with this universe, then maybe you’ll be able to learn one or two new things here and there too. Let’s dive into the blogging world and give it a try with full commitment.

Also, I can’t promise all the posts will be related to the aforementioned subjects. Sometimes, design tips might pop up. Motivational posts could get posted too. Basically, anything that gets my attention and falls into my likings will get posted, provided it contains some kind of useful information, be it related to monetizing or marketing or not. I’ll really make an effort to keep it interesting, though. I might follow some suggestion given by my followers.

Some people might ask: why are you going to share this kind of information and teach a bunch of people you don’t even know on the fine art of how to make money online? The answer is as simple as it gets: traffic equals money. Every single time you step into my blog, it equal to money created by traffic. Every click on an advertisement will be a profit in account.

If you visit my page, the chances are that I am making some kind of income out of your visit. If you adhere to some of the methods I’m going to share here, it’s very likely we will be in the same boat, helping each other, be it now or in the future. And also, I just felt like sharing this kind of information, disregard the existence of money in the game. Hand in hand we help each other to created traffic and monetize.

I am happy start something brand new too, not only for me, but hopefully, for many people who come to stumble upon this blog.

Thank you very much if you are reading this post. This means an incredible lot for me, for this is my first online venture, and since I have no means to predict the future, I have no idea of what this is going to turn into. It’s also valid stating here that I have zero experience on blogging, so, do expect some crappy stuff on posts. Making mistakes is a part of the process, but I can promise I’ll do my best to avoid them.

Do follow me on twitter….there is a link on the top left corner. Do visit my other blogspots to support me in becoming a better blogger. Let me be part of a family by blogging.

Thank you for the support now and forever. God bless you
